Anamed was born in 1980 to produce electronic and electro-mechanical balances of various capacities for scientific labs, R&D organizations, educational institutes, jewellers, diamond dealers, chemists, pharmaceutical firms and medical establishments.

Since its inception in 1980, Anamed has expanded into large scale production of the finest and the widest range of electronic precision balances. Today it has a 7000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art plant in New Bombay.

Anamed's production team comprises of capable engineers, trained in the USA. And every new recruit has to undergo a rigorous training programme. Anamed's quality control is in keeping with ISO standards, and its R&D is cut out for the growing needs of every customer .There's an excellent reason for the tremendous success of Anamed: its company ethos - the unrelenting pursuit of excellence as a 'weigh' of life.
