Coal Analyzer :

Anamed Coal Analyzer determines moisture, volatiles, ash and fixed carbon on the same sample, in the same instrument…and saves up to 4 man-days for every 80 samples.
Anamed Instruments Pvt. Ltd brings the latest microprocessor technology to the coal laboratory with the introduction of its model 490 Coal Analyzer. This innovative system is the first of its own kind, providing the fastest, most efficient method available for proximate analyses of coal and coke. Results meet or better ANSI/ASTM D3172 for repeatability and reproducibility.

The Coal Analyzer enables you to determine moisture, volatiles, ash and fixed carbon on the same sample - in the same instrument. You can process up to 80 samples simul6taniously, 40 in oven, 40 in the furnace. Heating temperature, heating rate atmosphere, and duration of run are all automatically controlled by a microprocessor during operation. This control gives you a new degree of speed, accuracy and reliability never before possible in proximate analyses.

With the Coal Analyzer, you can determine all 4 parameters on 80 samples in one working day. Conventional methods, on the other hand require five working days to determine the 4 parameters on 80 samples.

This time-saving factor means your per test cost is only a fraction of that incurred with conventional method. It also means the 4 parameter model 490 will pay back its purchase price in relatively short time frame.

Although the Coal Analyzer is designed for expediting work with coal and coke, it is equally at home in a variety at other industries.

Features:

Standalone with Balance & Printer

  • 90 Samples can be stored in the memory
  • Forced-air drying oven used for moisture determinations has maximum capacity of 40 samples.
  • The high performance muffle furnace for both volatiles and Ash, also holds 40 samples, hence all four constituents can be obtained on a full 80 samples simultaneously, generally in one working day.
  • Separate safety circuit to prevent Furnace temperature above 1100 deg. C & separate Thermocouple sensor for that.
  • To allow the entire proximate analysis to be performed on a single sample, there is an accessory self-sealing crucible.
  • Flexible operation of the Furnace. There are two pre-established microprocessor programs for Volatiles and Ash each. OR the operator can choose a programmable mode either for volatiles or ash, in which case he then enters his own temperature /time parameters.
  • Large digital readout along with specific labeled function button numeric keyboard.
  • LED indicators that identify operating modes, programs & operators entry of necessary data.
  • Automatic entry of sample weight through weight transfer Interface from Electronic Balance
  • Automatic calculations & Printout results of all four determinations.
