In Association
with Hugo Sachs Elektronik, ANAMED produced India's Only and Unique
Pocket Cardioscope. The first unit was presented to Mrs. Indira Gandhi,
then Prime Minister of India. Anamed continued to make and export these
units to H.S.C. till 1988.

New production
facilities at New Bombay [year 1986]
ANAMED's
Electronic Balance producing facilities in New Bombay (Mumbai) were
inaugurated by Mr. David J. Oimsted, General Manager of Denver Instruments
Co., USA; and were dedicated to the memory of the late Prime Minister,
Mrs. Indira Gandhi.

it is gratifying that these units are working, EVEN AFTER 15 YEARS!
These products were discontinued after change of ownership at LDC Milton
Roy.

Intra Uterine
Contraceptive Device [year 1978]
Multilan
SA's Intra Uterine contraceptive device MC CU 250 was introduced by
ANAMED in as early as 1978. The clinical trials were conducted and the
product was launched successfully. Subsequently Organon took over the
product from the group under an arrangement.
